Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a manufacturing operator to support daily production and packaging activities in a clean room environment. You will inspect products, follow detailed work instructions, and document any defects or scrap according to GMP guidelines.

The role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety procedures. Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent and be able to read, write, and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment to meet daily production requirements and quality standards.
  • Inspect production and package product per work instructions.
  • Document rejected or scrap material; follow Red Bin procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work space and compliant records.
  • Learn and apply Lock Out Tag Out procedures as needed.
  • Attend to routine tasks with regular attendance and professionalism.

Job description

**Job Summary:

**¨NBSP;

Operate equipment to meet daily production requirements while meeting all quality expectations and safety standards. Inspect production and package product. Follow daily schedules, SWI’s, and SOP’s to produce devices or components that comply with customer specifications.

**Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Complete Tasks within assigned work center in accordance with Product specific work instructions
  • Required to read, comprehend controlled work instructions in order to identify manufacturing documentation and work instructions as required
  • Responsible for visual inspection of product for defects as identified in the work instructions
  • Segregate and document rejected or scrap product within assigned work center(s) utilizing SMC’s Red Bin Procedure
  • Maintain a safe and organized work space
  • Maintain compliance with all required documentation utilizing proper GDP
  • Must be able to learn and understand ‘Lock Out Tag Out’ procedure as an affected employee
  • Regular attendance and professionalism
**Essential Qualifications:
  • Notify Cell Lead or Shift Supervisor when problems interrupt work flow and output
  • Notify the Cell Lead or QC when a defect is found
  • Verify that equipment is operating properly. Notify Cell Lead or Shift Supervisor when it is not
  • Abide by all applicable clean room procedures and guidelines
  • Adhere to all safety practices
  • Follow standard work and cGMP guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment and independently is essential
  • Self-motivated
  • Good written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Keen Attention to Detail
  • High Manual Dexterity Preferred
**ADA Requirements:
  • Stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, reach or otherwise move frequently
  • Occasional repetitive motion and grasping
  • Occasional climbing to reach areas on machines or racks
  • Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs. occasionally, >20 lbs. frequently
  • Typically sits, grasps items or performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer
  • Exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards which may require respiratory protection
