Job summary

Catalent’s Greenville, NC site is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to support production operations and maintain clean, compliant spaces in line with SOPs and GMP.

The role is 100% onsite with a Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm schedule, based in Greenville, NC. Candidates must meet minimum education and physical requirements and be comfortable with potential exposure to chemicals and respirator use.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lb and push/pull up to 50 lb as needed.
• Most of the workday is spent standing and walking.
• Hands used for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Bend, stoop, twists and full range of motion required.
• Exposure to hazardous chemicals and moving machinery parts.
• Respirator use required; medical evaluation may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs related to equipment, cleaning, and areas.
• Differentiate between Clean and To Be Cleaned equipment and areas.
• Clean and maintain storage areas for cleaned equipment.
• Identify, handle, and use approved cleaning agents.
• Restock gowning rooms and manufacturing areas with supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Associate position supports production operations by ensuring all manufacturing common areas and assigned spaces are maintained in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GMP requirements.

Shift: Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

The Role

• Adhere to standard operating procedures related to equipment, cleaning, and assigned areas
• Understand how to differentiate between “Clean” and “To Be Cleaned” equipment and areas
• Clean and maintain storage areas for cleaned equipment
• Identify, handle, and use approved cleaning agent
• Restock gowning rooms and manufacturing areas with required supplies (e.g. lint‑free cloths, alcohol bottles, room cards, PAPR supplies, etc.)
• Other duties as assigned

The Candidate

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Position requires the ability to occasionally lift 40 lbs unassisted, and occasionally push and pull a maximum of 50 lbs
• Majority of work day is performed while standing and walking
• Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, climb, and have full range of motion in upper and lower extremities
• Exposure to hazardous chemicals, other active chemical ingredients, respiratory irritants, skin irritants, moving machinery parts, damp, humid, wet and cramped environments
• This position requires that a respirator be worn for your safety, and as such, employment is contingent upon being able to complete a medical evaluation with satisfactory results. The medical evaluation is conducted via an external vendor assigned by Catalent.
