Job summary

International Paper in Eighty Four, PA, is hiring for an hourly production role with afternoon and midnight shifts. You will set up machinery, read orders, monitor quality, and operate near energy sources in a demanding manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery according to machine-specific procedures.
• Read factory orders and produce according to specifications.
• Monitor and adjust for quality throughout production.
• Read gauges and test equipment accurately.
• Work near electrical, hydraulic and mechanical energy sources.
• Follow Lock out/ Tag out procedures.
• Assist with cleanup tasks such as cleaning ink systems and sweeping the area.

The Job You Will Perform:

• Set up machinery according to machine specific procedures
• Reading factory orders
• Monitor and adjust for quality throughout the production process
• Accurately reading gauges and other test equipment
• Work in close proximity to electrical, hydraulic and mechanical energy sources
• Follow Lock out/ Tag out procedures
• Utilizing basic shop math, inspecting
• This person will also be assigned to clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap.
