A leading financial services company is seeking an Assistant Controller in Santa Clarita, CA. This hands-on leadership role involves overseeing General Ledger, financial analysis, and cost accounting. Candidates must have a BS in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of experience, ideally in the manufacturing sector. Additional qualifications include strong capabilities in variance analysis and budgeting, with CPA or CMA preferred. Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Standard Cost Accounting knowledge is a must.
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting processes.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of General Ledger, FP&A, and Costing.
• Monthly journal entries and G/L reconciliations.
• Support financial statement preparation.
• Review and oversee accounts receivable processes.
• Involvement in budget and forecasting functions.
