Job summary

Burnley Enterprises at Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, PA seeks a Manufacturing Assistant to support candle and leather goods production. You will prepare supplies, assemble products, and assist with labeling, packaging, and monogramming while upholding safety and quality standards.

Role involves customer-facing aspects at trunk shows and providing retail support. This full-time position includes a 5-day work week with scheduling flexibility and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Ability to follow established product specs and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.

Responsibilities

• Prepare jars, wicks, wax melters, and materials for candle production.
• Produce candles and wax melts by following scent, dye, and temperature specifications.
• Assemble, label, price, and package finished candle products after curing.
• Perform leather goods assembly including gluing, fastening, riveting, and hardware installation.
• Assist with bag production through piling, clipping, turning, and other tasks.
• Operate embossing equipment to apply logos and monograms to leather products.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations and manufacturing areas.
• Receive, organize, and inventory raw materials and finished goods to support production needs.
• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining manufacturing processes and creating custom monogrammed products.
• Collaborate with management to improve procedures, safety practices, and production efficiency.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding quality control, inventory, and material needs.
• Monitor repairs, special orders, and production levels to ensure inventory requirements are met.

Help bring our products to life! The Burnley Enterprises Manufacturing Assistant supports the creation of products for several Burnley Enterprises brands, including By Candle Light candles and Deerskin Leather handbags. This hands-on role also assists with trunk shows, provides retail sales support, and helps wherever production is needed.
