Actalent, a global engineering services firm, seeks a 2nd shift Manufacturing Assistant in Bakersfield, CA to support production operations, ERP data entry, and inventory control. The role emphasizes accuracy, Excel reporting, and collaboration with Quality and Planning teams.

Responsibilities

• Process and update work orders within an ERP system.
• Perform high-volume data entry with a high degree of accuracy.
• Maintain manufacturing, inventory, shipping, and receiving records.
• Support inventory management activities, including cycle counts and record reconciliation.
• Assist with production scheduling and production tracking.
• Generate reports and maintain spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
• Review production documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Inventory, and Planning teams.
• Assist with document control and record retention activities.
• Support special projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with company quality and safety procedures.

Job description

2nd shift Manufacturing Assistant to support production operations, inventory transactions, and manufacturing documentation activities. This role will spend much of the day working within an ERP system to enter data, update work orders, maintain inventory records, and support production scheduling efforts.

The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, experience with data entry and spreadsheets, and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Bakersfield, CA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
