Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Full-time Warehouse Manufacturing Assistant to support daily operations at our Fleetwood Dr SE facility. The role offers an hourly rate of $20 and a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with weekly pay and benefits starting on day one.

Ideal candidates will be forklift certified or have working knowledge of a sit-down power truck, able to lift up to 60 pounds, stand for long periods, and work well in a team to meet production

Qualifications

• Forklift certified or working knowledge of a sit-down power industrial truck.
• Ability to stand and stay focused for approximately 7 hours daily.
• Capable of reading and communicating within internal material handling processes.
• Team player with ability to work toward shared goals.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift or be willing to certify; assist in material handling tasks.
• Maintain focus during 7-hour shifts and follow site guidelines.
• Lift up to 60 pounds as needed and work independently or with others.
• Communicate real-time situations and participate in safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Manufacturing Assistant Job Duties:

• Forklift certified or at least a working knowledge of a sit down power industrial truck with intentions of being certified
• Experience working in an industrial manufacturing facility is a plus but not necessary
• Must be able to stand and stay focused on tasks for approximately 7 hours a day
• Must be able to effectively lift up to 60 pounds
• Must be able to work independently or collectively within a group to achieve tasks given
• Must be able to exhibit ability to read and communicate properly throughout our internal material handling processes.
• Must be able to effectively communicate real time situations where communication is required
• Must be able to execute job tasks within an allotted time frame with reasonable amount of instruction
• Must be willing to learn and establish site specific guidelines regarding location and handling of product and its placement throughout our facility
• Must be a team player and willing to accomplish goals working together with others
