Job Title: Manufacturing Assembly Technician

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Assembler responsible for assembling parts and components according to the company's production standards. The successful candidate will work in a production environment and possess excellent attention to detail.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Read work orders, follow production drawings, sample assemblies, or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
• Identify and label CCAs & LRUs.
• Integrate and assemble CCAs to chassis sub-assemblies.
• Perform mechanical rework per rework instructions.
• Perform final unit level clean-up.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Perform conformal coat removal, touch-up, and bonding on CCAs.
• Perform wire prep and basic wire wrap by following Work Instructions, Wire List, and Cut List.
• Assist or follow instructions from the manufacturing engineer for complex assemblies.
• Perform solder rework on CCAs with through-hole and SMT components.
• Perform wire wrap at all levels from connector assembly to final unit assembly.
• Understand documentation such as DWGs, PLs, WLs, ECNs, EOs, and Work Instructions to identify errors or required changes.

• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel, PDF, Teams, and online training capabilities.
• Mechanical Assembly Experience.
• Basic or Proficient soldering and wire prep experience.

Level II: $49,650 - $55,000

• High School Diploma and 3-5 Years' Experience.
• Thorough understanding of testing and troubleshooting LRUs and circuit cards to the component level, including interpretation of schematics and wiring diagrams, under the guidance of a test engineer or Sr. Test technician.

Level III: $55,000 - $62,100

• High School Diploma and 6-10 Years' Experience.
• Proficient in testing and troubleshooting LRUs and circuit cards to the component level, including schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Perform rework on circuit card assemblies using soldering skills.
• Minimal guidance from test engineers.

Physical Demands

Work is performed in a production environment and requires physically demanding tasks including lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing 20 to 50 pounds, and dexterity for operating tools. Maintaining physical condition for standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, and kneeling is essential.

Work Environment

Employees are frequently exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level can be loud.
