Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs is seeking candidates for assembly roles on the shop floor. You will work with instruction drawings and schematics to assemble products while following safe operation standards and PPE requirements.

The role includes cross-training in multiple areas, developing product knowledge, and continuous learning as processes evolve. You will participate in team meetings and assist peers to resolve issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Production environment familiarity required; shop-floor professionals preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance; wear PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Uses work instruction drawings, schematics, and assembly equipment to perform assembly with safe operation standards.
• Cross trains in multiple assembly areas and flex to other departments as needed.
• Develop and maintain understanding of the products and their impact on the business.
• Continuously learn the principles and processes of the job as changes occur.
• Participate in team meetings to exchange job-related information.
• Resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisors depending on level and complexity.
• Provide basic training to employees on work instructions/standard work as needed.
