At TA Instruments, the Instrument Assembler position offers a great entry-level opportunity for an electro-mechanical instrument assembler to join a world-class analytical instrument manufacturer. The work environment is inclusive, team-oriented, and customer-focused.

Typical Tasks
  1. Assembles a variety of mechanical, electronic, and electro-mechanical instruments and sub-assemblies.
  2. Tests sub-assemblies and instruments according to established procedures.
  3. Assembles a wide variety of kits and accessory items.
  4. Troubleshoots and repairs sub-assemblies and instruments.
  5. Follows all procedures and processes.
  6. Participates in Lean process improvement programs.
Candidate Requirements
  • Ability to read blueprints, follow written procedures, drawings, and verbal instructions.
  • Proficiency with hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches), power tools (nut driver), and electronic test devices for assembly and testing.
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings to achieve goals.
  • Capable of handling multiple assignments, drawing on past experiences, skills, and knowledge to assemble and solve problems.
  • General knowledge of PC/computer systems.
