Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana, Inc. is seeking a production team member on the west side of downtown Indianapolis at 413 N Tremont St, Indianapolis, IN 46222.

The role starts at $11 per hour and is a full-time position with eligibility for a comprehensive benefits program. Key responsibilities include assembling products, cross-training at multiple workstations, operating and maintaining power tools, meeting quality standards, and assisting with machine setup and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

  • Degree and Credential Requirements – NONE. Demonstrate capability and articulate how prior experience will help them contribute.
  • General Labor Skills: Able to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions and deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
  • Communication Skills: Reads and comprehends two- and three-syllable words, recognizes similarities and differences, and communicates simple sentences.
  • Mathematical Aptitude: Adds and subtracts two-digit numbers and performs basic arithmetic with units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Physical Requirements: Occasionally use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Visual Acuity: Ability to adjust focus.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
