Job summary

Okuma America Corporation seeks a Software Engineer – Manufacturing Applications to bridge CAM platforms with Okuma's OSP controls, turning tooling data into machine-ready information for precision CNC automation.

You will design and maintain software using C#, .NET, WinForms/WPF, and collaborate with global teams to deliver scalable, testable solutions while supporting customer implementations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with C#/.NET, WinForms/WPF, and modern software architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and CAM plug-ins.
• Translate tooling data (STEP, ISO standards) into control-ready datasets for Okuma OSP controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to implement product enhancements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and contribute to code reviews.
