Jefferson State Community College is seeking a full-time instructor for Manufacturing/Industrial Technology. The role involves planning, preparing, and delivering quality instruction aligned with Alabama Community College System standards, while contributing to the college’s mission and serving on committees.
Requirements include an associate degree (or equivalent) in a related field; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. A minimum of three years of related industry experience is required.
Based on education and experience commensurate with Alabama Community College System Salary Schedule D1 ($42,108.00-$94,363.00). This is a nine-month position. Summer employment may be available (an additional $13,001-$29,084) dependent upon enrollment.
This is a full-time teaching position with responsibility for planning, preparation, and presentation of quality instruction and for otherwise contributing to the fulfillment of the college’s mission. This position reports to the Associate Dean of Industrial Education.
Education: Associate degree or equivalent in Manufacturing, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Electronics, or related field, required. Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Electronics or related field, preferred.
Experience: Minimum of three years of related work experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting required.
