Job summary

APR Consulting, Inc. in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Analyst/Admin to support our Tooling Organization in an on-site role.

The position will operate at the El Segundo site and handle production planning, data reporting, and cross-functional coordination. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years of related experience, strong Excel and MS Office skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skill (sorting, filtering, pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, basic formulas)
• Strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication
• Basic data analysis and reporting experience
• Problem solving skills

Responsibilities

• Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment.
• Performs activities in cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering.
• Facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.
• Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations.
• Relevant administrative/scheduling experience
• Experience in a team environment providing support to a diverse customer base with a demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Experience managing competing demands while still meeting critical deadlines
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook with calendar functionality
• Ability to adapt to shifting business priorities and step forward for projects
• Skilled with high attention to detail.
• Managing and scheduling meetings will be critical as well as organizing presentations and gathering data for leadership consumption.
