Job summary

AlphaStaffHCM is assisting a client in New Jersey seeking an Accountant to support sales, production, and financial operations. The role focuses on receivables/payables, cost analysis, tax filings, inventory controls, and process improvement within a growing manufacturing environment.

Candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments to improve reporting accuracy and financial controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of accounting experience.
• Experience with tax accounting including Sales Tax, GST, VAT, or similar structures.
• Experience using ERP and CRM systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile monthly sales data and financial records.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
• Process landed cost raw materials and inventory transfer vouchers.
• Prepare and review commission payments and reports based on monthly sales rep data.
• Assist with regulatory, quality control, and risk assessment documentation.
