Job summary

Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking an Accountant to join our team. Under the general direction of the CFO, the Accountant is responsible for providing financial information, maintaining and reconciling accounts, maintaining journals and ledgers, capturing costs, preparing statements and generating reports needed to ensure accurate financial statements.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of relevant financial software and ERP systems.
• Proficient in MS Office suite; intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Strong problem solving and root-cause analysis abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and perform account reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement during month-end closing.
• Assist in ensuring monthly close functions are completed.
• Prepare schedules for outside auditors for annual audit.
• Perform account analysis to identify and resolve issues.
• Provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
• Coordinate with departments regarding accounting issues.
