Job summary

New Vision Manufacturing in Madill, OK is seeking a seasoned Manufactured Home Engineer to support design, engineering, and construction of manufactured homes. The role ensures plans and construction methods meet HUD, IRC, and IBC requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manufactured housing and a working knowledge of HUD Code, IRC, and IBC. You will develop drawings, review production changes, and collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure code-compliant

Qualifications

Experience in manufactured housing, residential construction, modular construction, or a closely related field.
Strong working knowledge of HUD Manufactured Home Construction and Safety Standards (24 CFR Part 3280), IRC, and IBC.
Ability to read, interpret, create, and revise construction and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

Develop, review, and revise engineering drawings, floor plans, construction details, and specifications for manufactured homes.
Ensure designs comply with HUD standards, IRC, and IBC.
Maintain knowledge of IRC and IBC requirements and apply to projects.
Review plans for code compliance before implementation.
Provide technical guidance to production personnel on drawings and materials.
Investigate production or field issues and develop practical, code-compliant solutions.
