Job summary

Triton Metal Products in Hamilton, IN, is seeking a manual welder to interpret blueprints, weld to customer specs, and perform routine maintenance. This is a detail-driven, safety-conscious role in a fast-paced metal fabrication shop.

You will weld in various positions, use gauges and measurement tools, and contribute to a clean, organized work area. Training is provided with competitive benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of welding experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for most of the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and a steady, methodical work style.
• Ability to receive, follow instructions, and be a positive contributor in a team environment.
• Must be adaptable and with a positive attitude to help other team members.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and drawings and follow qualified weld and setup procedures.
• Weld small and large assemblies to customer specifications, utilizing best welding processes and techniques.
• Perform scheduled operator preventative maintenance.
• Assess welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors.
• Follow safety regulations and PPE requirements.
• Weld components in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Maintain weld gauges and tooling for cleanliness and proper storage or use.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment daily.
• Provide accurate and timely communication to designated Tritons regarding production, safety, or maintenance requirements through ECR’s and verbal/written contact.
