In this role, the MANUAL TURNING AND GUNDRILL MACHINE OPERATOR will set up and operate manual turning and gun drill machines to perform various machining operations as defined in the job routings.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

• Reading and understanding blueprints, job routings, setup sheets, and standard charts for specifications such as dimensions and tolerances.
• Operating more than one machine where cycle time permits.
• Documenting quality control characteristics and tolerance zones specified on blueprints.
• Inspecting parts using tools like micrometers, calipers, vision systems, and height stands.
• Operating turning and gun drill machines with supervision.
• Performing other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High School Degree or GED diploma
• 0-1 years of experience in a similar position or training in a machine shop

Work Schedule

1st shift: Monday-Thursday 5:00AM – 3:30PM, plus overtime as needed.

Position is non-exempt (hourly) and benefits-eligible (Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, profit sharing, holiday pay, PTO).
