Playson is seeking a highly skilled Manual QA Engineer to join our Game Client squad in the United States. You will apply QA theory and agile practices to ensure the highest quality of our products across client/server architectures.

You will develop and execute test plans, perform manual and automated testing, collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams, and help optimize CI workflows using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in manual testing.
• Strong knowledge of QA theory and agile methodologies.
• Experience in iGaming development or game development.
• Proficient in manual, functional, and regression testing.
• Experience in mobile and cross-browser testing.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience writing detailed test documentation.
• Familiarity with client/server architectures.
• Experience with BrowserStack or similar services.
• Hands-on automation testing experience with Selenium, Playwright, Jest, Pytest.
• Basic Python and/or JavaScript.
• Experience testing APIs with Postman.
• Experience with Zephyr and/or TestRail.
• Familiarity with observability systems like DataDog and Grafana.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL and analytical databases.

We are seeking a highly skilled Manual QA Engineer to join our Game Client squad with a robust understanding of QA theory and agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a background in iGaming or general game development, and will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our products.

What will you be doing?

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts;
• Perform manual, functional, regression, mobile, and cross-browser testing to ensure a seamless user experience;
• Document and track software defects, collaborating closely with developers to resolve issues;
• Execute testing in a client/server architecture environment;
• Maintain and improve established workflows and procedures within agile teams;
• Integrate and utilize continuous integration (CI) tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions to streamline the testing process;
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members (including mathematicians, sound producers, artists, designers, and animators) to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
