Job summary

Signify Technology is seeking a Manual QA Engineer for a fully remote role based in Latin America. This 1-year contract involves working closely with delivery squads, engineering and product teams to ensure quality throughout the release cycle.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with test case design, regression and smoke testing across web and mobile, and familiarity with Jira/X-Ray. English proficiency and strong ownership are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a manual QA engineer in an Agile squad.
• Strong test case design and execution, including regression and smoke testing.
• Hands-on with test case management in Jira and X-Ray.
• Ability to interpret requirements, identify edge cases, and raise gaps with the team.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with experience in US or European teams.
• High ownership and accountability; raises issues proactively.
• Familiar with React, React Native or TypeScript codebases.

A established US product organisation is expanding its quality function as its platform grows. The QA team sits embedded within delivery squads and works closely with engineering and product throughout the release cycle. This is a long-term engagement with room to broaden scope over time.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a manual QA engineer working inside an Agile squad, taking part in daily ceremonies alongside developers and product
• Strong test case design and execution, including regression and smoke testing across web and mobile
• Hands-on experience writing and managing test cases in Jira and X-Ray
• Ability to internalise business requirements, identify edge cases and challenge gaps or missing requirements directly with the team
• Excellent written and spoken English, with a track record of working in US or European engineering organisations
• High level of ownership and accountability, comfortable raising issues and escalating without being prompted
• Familiarity with React, React Native or TypeScript codebases
