Summary

A successful Manual Machinist - Threadmills can safely and efficiently manufacture parts that meet all quality requirements. This is an hourly, non-exempt position reporting to the group leader.

Responsibilities

1. Coordinate efforts to produce quality products safely and efficiently.
2. Understand machining principles, including lead error, helix angles, and die usage.
3. Identify and communicate productivity and product quality improvements.
4. Support team operations with material scheduling.
5. Utilize measuring equipment effectively and ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards.
6. Operate efficiently and monitor product tolerance and specifications.
7. Train new operators and maintain machine and area cleanliness.
8. Troubleshoot machines and minimize scrap and rework.
9. Possess overhead crane experience and meet physical requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED.
