Qualifications

  • 1–2+ years of hands‑on manual machining experience.
  • Reading blueprints and using measuring equipment.
  • Experience machining to close tolerances on metal components.
  • Experience with manual lathes, mills, or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate manual machining equipment to produce solid and porous metal components.
  • Machine high‑purity porous metal products to exact specifications.
  • Perform straightening, rounding, fitting, and assembly operations as required.
  • Interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specifications accurately.
  • Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensional and visual quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness standards required for high‑purity products.
  • Support flexible production needs by adapting to changing priorities.
  • Follow safety, quality, and standard work practices aligned with IDEX operating principles.
