Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HBM Machinist in the Northeast Houston area. The Manual HBM Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining manual horizontal boring mill (HBM) machines to produce high-precision parts and components. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual machining, particularly on Manual HBM machines.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manual HBM machines to machine large parts and components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced to specifications and make adjustments as needed.
• Ensure all work meets the company's quality standards and tolerances.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience operating horizontal boring mills (HBM).
• Strong understanding of horizontal boring mill machines.
• Skilled in using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
