Trinity Employment Specialists seeks experienced Manual Machinists to set up and operate VTLs and manual radial drill machines in a heavy industrial shop in Oklahoma. You will machine large metal components, interpret blueprints, and inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy.

Overtime opportunities exist. Lift up to 50 lbs and operate overhead cranes; overnight shift Mon–Thu, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, with DOE compensation.

Competenze

• Minimum 2 years of manual machining experience.
• Experience operating Manual VTLs and/or Manual Radial Drills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and machining specifications.
• Experience using precision measuring tools, including dial calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to maintain close tolerances.
• Experience working with large metal components.
• Ability to operate overhead cranes and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime.

Manual Machinists – VTL & Radial Drill Operators

Pay: $27.00–$32.00/hour, DOE Schedule: Overnight Shift, Monday–Thursday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM + Overtime Job Type: Full-Time Location: Sand Springs, OK

Position Summary

Seeking experienced Manual Machinists to set up and operate Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL) and/or Manual Radial Drill machines in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include machining large metal components, drilling and tapping holes, reading blueprints, and inspecting finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual VTLs and/or radial drill machines
• Read blueprints and interpret machining specifications and dimensions
• Perform turning, drilling, and tapping operations on metal components
• Select appropriate cutting tools and machining equipment
• Measure and inspect parts using precision measuring instruments

Additional Qualifications

• Experience machining large industrial components preferred
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Comfortable working in a heavy industrial machine shop environment
