Job summary

Star Staffing is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manual Machinist/Fabricator for a Manufacturing Leader in the Central Valley. This hands-on role supports machining, fabrication, equipment repair, and general maintenance to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, welding (MIG/TIG), operating lathes, mills, and drills, plus troubleshooting and designing custom components. US work authorization is required and a strong safety culture is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Experience with manual machining, metal fabrication, welding, and pipe fitting.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills.
• Preventive maintenance knowledge; basic electrical knowledge preferred.
• Experience with shop equipment including lathes, mills, drill presses, band saws, grinders, and hand tools.
• Strong communication and ability to train others on technical processes.
• Associate degree or technical training.
• U.S. work authorization required.

• U.S. work authorization required.

Physical Requirements

• Combination of sitting, standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), bending, reaching, and manual dexterity.
• Work may be indoors or outdoors, with exposure to temperature changes, dust, and uneven surfaces.
• Must meet vision and respirator certification requirements.
