Sulzer is seeking a skilled machinist to set up and operate a range of machine tools to manufacture and recondition components to strict standards.
This role requires reading blueprints and GD&T, precision measurement, and the ability to train others while maintaining high quality and productivity. Overtime may be required in a team-oriented environment.

Job Summary: Sets up and operates machine tools, including HBM, VBM, lathes, milling machines, ID/OD grinders, planers, and bore, without assistance, following department policy and procedures manual, to manufacture and recondition component parts to customer, OEM and industry standards. Interprets mechanical drawings, blueprints, and sketches and performs precision metal cutting, grinding, shaping and fitting. Measures components, parts, and raw materials with precision measuring instruments, gauges, and tools. Works under limited supervision. Pasadena, Texas.
While performing duties of this job, would occasionally be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects.
