Job summary

Plansee Group, via its Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals site in Indianapolis, is hiring skilled manual machinists for hourly positions to produce high-precision tungsten alloy parts for aerospace, defense, medical and industrial applications.

Candidates should read drawings, operate machine tools, set up equipment, and use calipers, micrometers and gauges with attention to detail. 3–5 years' experience preferred; excellent benefits included.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documents.
• Strong knowledge of machine tools and machining operations.
• Knowledge of measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, indicators).
• Precision and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to set up machines and make changes as needed.
• Able to work as a team.
• 3-5 years' experience - Preferred.

Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals is looking for skilled manual machinists. The ideal candidate will be able to operate tools and equipment to produce precision metal pieces. Be able to set up machinery to perform accurate measurements to meet required specifications.

Requirements:

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documents
• Strong knowledge of machine tools and machining operations
• Knowledge of measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, indicators)
• Precision and attention to detail
