Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training or apprenticeship a plus.

• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and separate defective components.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs.

Responsibilities:

• Review samples, drawings, and instructions to understand machining specifications.
• Plan the sequence of machining operations to complete each job accurately and efficiently.
• Measure and mark materials for cutting or shaping.
• Select appropriate machines and tooling, including lathes, and position or load materials.
• Set machine speeds, feeds, and batch quantities; program equipment as applicable.
• Monitor machining operations and adjust feeds and operating conditions to address issues.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and separate defective components.

• Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and meet the physical demands of shop work.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational training or completion of an apprenticeship is a plus.
