Machinist / Maintenance Professional

Are you an experienced Machinist with a background in machine maintenance? We are seeking a dedicated professional for a hands-on role focused on precision fabrication and equipment upkeep. We are looking for a skilled individual with a solid foundation in machining and maintenance:

• Proven experience in machining, with a comprehensive understanding of manual machining techniques.
• A minimum of 5 years of direct manual machining experience is required.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges, and levels.
• Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with tooling design and fabrication is an advantage.
• Experience in machine and industrial maintenance.
• Spanish speaking ability is a plus, but not required.
• Problem-solving skills and close attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Operating manual lathes, mills, and other machining equipment to fabricate parts according to specifications.
• Assembling machined components and conducting quality checks to ensure accuracy.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Collaborating with our engineering team to troubleshoot issues and optimize machining processes.
• Performing machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production line machinery.
