DeSHAZO, LLC. in Texas seeks an experienced Manual Machinist to operate a LeBlond lathe and machine large components from 48" to 60". The ideal candidate will read blueprints, interpret drawings, and maintain tight tolerances while ensuring quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating manual lathes (LeBlond preferred).
• Experience machining large parts/components.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate LeBlond manual lathe to machine large parts (48"–60").
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform measurements and inspections using precision measuring tools.
• Select appropriate tooling and calculate speeds/feeds.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean.

We are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join our team. This role requires hands‑on experience operating a LeBlond manual lathe and machining large components ranging from 48\" to 60\" in size. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, safety‑conscious, and capable of producing high-quality work while maintaining efficiency.

Shift - 1st or 2nd both are available, you can pick

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate LeBlond manual lathe to machine large parts (48\"–60\")
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Perform measurements and inspections using precision measuring tools
• Select appropriate tooling and calculate speeds/feeds
• Maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional manual machining experience (mills, grinders, etc.)
• Shop math knowledge and understanding of tolerances
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or repair environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, move, or position heavy materials with assistance/equipment
• Standing for extended periods
• Working in a shop environment
