Job summary

CoWorx Staffing Services in Methuen, MA is seeking a Manual Grinder to join the fabrication team. The role involves grinding, deburring, blending, and finishing metal components to meet quality specs, using hand grinders and power tools. First shift, 7:00am–3:30pm, $18.00–$22.00 hourly depending on experience.

Experience with metal finishing and reading basic prints is preferred. The job emphasizes strong attention to detail, reliable attendance, and a safe, clean work environment with PPE

Responsibilities

• Grind, deburr, and finish metal parts, weldments, and assemblies.
• Use hand grinders, die grinders, sanders, and other finishing tools.
• Smooth weld seams and remove burrs and surface imperfections.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met.
• Read and follow work orders, drawings, and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.

Location: Methuen, Massachusetts

CoWorx is seeking a skilled Manual Grinder to join our fabrication team in the Methuen, MA area.
This position is responsible for grinding, deburring, blending, and finishing metal components to meet quality and customer specifications. The ideal candidate has experience working with hand grinders, power tools, and fabricated metal products in a manufacturing environment.
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 based on exp.
1st shift Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Grind, deburr, and finish metal parts, weldments, and assemblies
• Use hand grinders, die grinders, sanders, and other finishing tools
• Smooth weld seams and remove sharp edges, burrs, and surface imperfections
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Read and follow work orders, drawings, and specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE

Desired Background/Skills:

• Manufacturing, fabrication, or metal finishing experience preferred
• Experience using manual grinding and finishing tools
