Sigma Defense is seeking a Manual/CNC Machinist to join our team in Huntsville, AL. The role involves operating both manual and CNC machining equipment, reading blueprints, and generating G-code using Solidworks-related workflows. Candidates should have 3+ years of relevant experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift 100 lbs.

U.S. citizenship with the potential to obtain an active Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Operate manual and CNC machining equipment including knee mill and 3-axis CNC.
• Read and interpret blueprints and generate G-code.
• Must have 3+ years of relevant machining experience.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsabilités

• Operate manual and CNC machining equipment (knee mill, lathe, CNC with rotary table).
• Read blueprints and set up tooling per specifications.
• Use calipers, micrometers and precision gauges.
• Maintain tolerances within +/-0.0025 when required.
• Collaborate with engineers and other specialists in a busy shop.
• Ensure safety and PPE compliance.
