Job summary

StellarMettle Placements is seeking a Mid-Senior QA Analyst to test and support business applications. This is a manual QA role with opportunities to learn automation; automation experience is not required.

The candidate will develop, maintain, and execute test cases, perform functional and regression testing, and work with development teams to resolve issues. SQL queries and API testing with Postman/SoapUI are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manual testing experience on web applications.
• Strong ability to develop and maintain test cases.
• Experience with API testing and web services.
• Experience with Postman or SoapUI.
• High attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks.

• Identify, document, and track defects
• Work with development and support teams to reproduce and resolve issues
• Write SQL queries to validate and extract data from relational databases
• Perform web service/API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools
• Maintain and improve QA documentation and testing assets

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of manual web application testing experience
• Strong experience developing and maintaining test cases
• Experience with web service/API testing
• Experience with Postman or SoapUI
• Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks effectively
