Job summary

Tangent-Technologies,-LL is seeking a Manual Assembly Operator to assemble outdoor furniture components using handheld power tools with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. The role may be cross-trained for CNC tasks if business needs arise.

Shifts include day ($18/hour) and night ($18/hour + $2 differential) with a rotating 2-week schedule; every other weekend off and overtime every other week. HS diploma or GED preferred with manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting measurements from tape measures, calipers and other tools.
• Experience with various hand and power tools (drills, impact drivers, pneumatic systems).
• Ability to adhere to production timelines and meet output targets.
• Ability to collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.

Responsibilities

• Manual Assembly: use handheld power tools to assemble components accurately.
• Manual Saw Cutting: perform manual saw-cutting for component prep if needed.
• Production Accountability: own output and efficiency in your area.
• Quality Assurance: ensure assembled products meet quality standards.
• Miscellaneous Duties: assist with machine maintenance and tooling changes.
• Safety Compliance: follow safety guidelines around hot machinery and moving equipment.
• Training: participate in ongoing skill development and continuous improvement.
• Reporting: promptly report inefficiencies or hazards to supervisor.
• CNC duties (if cross-trained): operate CNC machines to cut, drill, and shape plastics and perform related tasks.
