The New School's Mannes Prep program is seeking a motivated student to serve as a Student Assistant. The role supports Mannes Prep programs, events, and families, with duties including front-of-house ushers and recital hosting.

• Assist full-time Mannes Prep staff with the varied Saturday operations of Mannes Prep.
• Assist ensemble directors with rehearsal setup, breakdown, and attendance.
• Create and keep track of ensemble parts, and work with Ensemble Directors for any new part needs.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

We’re currently looking for responsible, proactive, and kind individual(s) with a musical background to support initiatives within the Mannes Prep Program. This position reports to the Director of Mannes Prep and is an ideal position for students who are interested in a career in program management, music education, or production.This position is open to student applicants with Federal Work Study awards, as well as student applicants without a Federal Work Study award. Mannes Prep student assistants will work approximately 4-6 hours per week.
