Job summary

Tate Americas in Glasgow, KY is seeking a Machine Operator for the Manifold Production department on 2nd or 3rd shift. The role involves operating and maintaining machinery, learning all equipment, and meeting production standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience working with Manufacturing Machinery required.
• Weld inspection experience a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability interface with a diverse workforce.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. repetitively for an 8-hour shift.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for an 8-hour shift.
• Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel machinery, equipment or parts near moving parts.

Responsibilities

• Learn and have working knowledge of all equipment and machinery within the Manifold Production department.
• Position parts and monitor operations on equipment while producing product at established production standards.
• Inspect panels or parts to verify specifications meet quality standards while maintaining established production standards.
• Complete production reporting and quality paperwork accurately as required.
• Use banding equipment and hand-jacks to ensure proper movement or storage of product or material.
• Maintain good housekeeping and follow established safety procedures.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and work instructions including SOPs, MOPs, JSAs, and Safety Manual.
• Maintain awareness of quality, safety, environmental and product compliance policies; report issues.
