Job summary

Hunter Contracting Co. is seeking diligent workers for maintenance and rehabilitation of underground sewer and manhole structures in Arizona. The role involves high-energy tasks with hand and power tools to restore structural integrity, including epoxy coatings and cementitious coatings.

You will read blueprints, follow safety standards, and work in confined spaces. Compensation starts at $24.00–$28.00 hourly with benefits including vision, 401K, life insurance, health programs, and paid

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Unrestricted driver license required.
• Minimum two years epoxy coating and concrete repair experience or equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• High pressure water profiling, pressure washing, hydro blasting and grouting.
• Applying spray foam and/or epoxy coating.
• Rehab manholes using cementitious or epoxy coating, spray and trowel.
• Replace or adjust manhole ring, frames and covers.
• Utilize flow through sewer plugs.
• Seal and stop infiltration around cracks, seams and pipe connections.

Hourly Rate: $24.00 - $28.00 to start

Job Purpose: Assists in performs tasks involving maintenance and rehabilitation of underground sewer and manhole structures utilizing hand tools and power tools to restore structural integrity.

Roles, Duties, & Responsibilities:

• High pressure water profiling, pressure washing, hydro blasting and grouting
• Applying Spray foam and/or epoxy coating
• Rehab manholes using cementitious coating or epoxy coating, spray and trowel
• Replace or adjust manhole ring, frames and covers
• Utilize flow through sewer plugs
• Seal and stop infiltration around cracks, seams and pipe connections
• Working in confined spaces: entry into manhole and underground structures

Work Qualifications

• Hydraulic cement experience
• Hand and power tool experience
• Sandblasting experience
• Must be able to read and distinguish blue prints
• Must be able to read and follow safety standards on labels
• Must be able to work in confined spaces/confined space certified
• Ability to finish concrete surfaces.
• Knowledge of concrete fabrication techniques.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the construction or repair of structures, highways, or roads.
• Knowledge of materials, production processes, and quality control.
• Takes pride in craftsmanship.
• Works within precise standards of accuracy.

  Education & Work Experience Requirements:

  • Must be 21 year of age
  • Must have a un-restricted driver license
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two (2) years of epoxy coating and concrete repair OR,
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
