Job summary

ACMH Inc. is seeking a Program Specialist for the Manhattan Supportive Apartment (MSA) program. The role provides direct services, aiding clients in daily living skills, budgeting, and safety.

You will work under the Program Director, in Manhattan, with a Monday–Friday 9:00am–5:00pm schedule. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (psychology exposure preferred) and strong organizational and communication skills. Experience with adults with serious mental illness is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with psychology exposure or related human services experience.
• Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Experience working with adults with serious mental illness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach daily living skills (personal hygiene, laundry, apartment cleaning).
• Monitor apartment maintenance and notify supervisor of issues.
• Teach budgeting, shopping, meal planning, preparation and cleanup.
