ACMH, INC. in Manhattan is seeking a Program Specialist to provide direct services and assist with training in skills of daily living for clients in a supportive housing setting.
The role focuses on teaching personal hygiene, budgeting, meal planning, and safety, while monitoring housing maintenance and client progress. Strong communication and organizational abilities are essential.
Position: Program Specialist, Manhattan Supportive Apartment (MSA)
Reports to: Program Director
Function: Provides direct service to clients, assisting with training in skills of daily living.
Location: Manhattan
Schedule: Mondays through Fridays (9:00am-5:00pm)
High school diploma with some undergraduate work in psychology or high school diploma with significant experience in human services. Experience working with adults with serious mental illness preferred. Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
$48,672 plus generous benefits
