Qualifications

• Active state medical license is required.
• Board certification or eligibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to understand symptoms and health concerns.
• Diagnose and treat acute infections and chronic diseases.
• Prescribe or administer medications and therapies.
• Explain procedures and test results to patients.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.
• Offer health and wellness guidance including diet and activity.
• Immunize patients against preventable diseases.
• Maintain detailed patient records of appointments and treatments.
• Refer patients to specialists as necessary.
• Support patients receiving long-term care.
• Prepare health documents or records when required.
