Job summary

QualDerm Partners is seeking a Manager, Accounts Receivable to oversee daily revenue cycle performance, including A/R follow‑up and denials management. You will standardize in‑house RCM processes, drive KPI outcomes, and create SOPs with leadership while managing legacy accounts for acquired practices.

The role requires 5–7 years in healthcare RCM, strong communication, data analysis skills, and a collaborative approach to improve cash flow and patient experiences across 158 practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred and relevant healthcare billing knowledge.
  • 5–7 years of progressive revenue cycle management experience in a large healthcare organization.
  • Experience in patient access, registration, billing, AR/follow-up and collections.
  • Strong attention to detail and deadline-driven performance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to analyze large data sets.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily performance and oversight of revenue cycle services, specifically A/R follow‑up.
  • Standardize and optimize in‑house RCM processes with other leaders.
  • Be accountable for revenue outcomes and KPIs set by leadership.
  • Create standard operating procedures in coordination with leadership.
  • Manage legacy A/R activities for acquired practices including billing and collections.
  • Stay updated with payer guidelines and reimbursement policies.
  • Monitor payer trends in rejections and denials and assign timely action.
  • Report trends to leadership and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead team meetings and participate in audits with finance/accounting.
  • Assist with bad debt collection as directed.
  • Provide oversight for patient billing calls when needed.
  • Ensure returned mail is researched and statements resent.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cash flow and patient experience.
  • Mentor staff and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Purpose:
  • Reporting to the Senior Director, Credentialing and Revenue Cycle, the Manager, Accounts Receivable, is responsible for daily performance and oversight of revenue cycle services, specifically, Accounts Receivable and follow-up activities.

  • Accountable for assigned revenue outcomes and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as determined by leadership

  • Assists with management of continuous improvement activities and quality improvement

Requirements
