Job summary

Language Trainers is seeking a freelance Mandarin Chinese teacher for in-person, one-to-one lessons in Dallas. The student is a beginner who wants to travel and speak confidently.

Lessons occur twice weekly (Wednesday and Friday at 5 pm) with flexible scheduling; total hours are 32. Ideal candidates are native Mandarin speakers with a teaching qualification and prior language-teaching experience; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Native Mandarin speaker or qualified in Mandarin teaching.
• Experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter.
• Valid work permit/visa (not sponsorable).
• Live within 20 miles of Dallas.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one Mandarin lessons to a beginner.
• Align sessions with the student’s twice-weekly schedule (Wednesday and Friday at 5 pm).
