Job summary

Language Trainers is seeking a freelance Mandarin instructor for one-to-one sessions in Dallas. The role targets beginners, with lessons scheduled twice weekly (Wednesday and Friday at 5 pm) leveraging a total of 32 hours.

Sessions run two hours each, and the location is at the teacher's home or office in Dallas, if feasible. The ideal candidate will be a native Mandarin speaker (or hold a relevant teaching qualification), have prior teaching or interpretation experience, and possess a valid

Qualifications

• Native Mandarin Chinese speaker and/or hold a teaching qualification.
• Experience as language teacher, translator or interpreter.
• Valid work permit/visa.
• Live within 20 miles of the specified location.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one Mandarin lessons to beginner students.
• Adapt materials and teaching methods to a beginner level.
• Coordinate schedule around Wednesdays and Fridays at 5 pm.
• Ensure sessions are conducted at the teacher's home/office in Dallas when possible.
