Chesterbrook Academy is seeking a passionate Mandarin Teacher to join our team. You will have the unique opportunity to introduce students to the Mandarin language and Chinese culture through dynamic, age‑appropriate lessons. • Develop and deliver engaging Mandarin lessons for early childhood and elementary students that support language acquisition and cultural understanding
• Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that fosters curiosity, communication, and confidence
• Adapt lessons to meet varying developmental levels and learning needs
• Integrate Mandarin instruction with interdisciplinary learning themes across the curriculum
• Collaborate with school teams and administrators to enhance the student experience
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress and classroom activities

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in education, language instruction, or a related field
• Proficiency in Mandarin and experience with effective language teaching methodologies
• Experience working with young children, preferably in a school setting
