Sunny Health & Fitness in California is seeking an experienced Production/Procurement Specialist to manage all aspects of logistics across the supply chain. You will organize efficient solutions for the product lifecycle, from order placement through production scheduling, import, and QA.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented with strong negotiation and communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (required)
• 4+ years of experience in related fields
• Bilingual in Mandarin (PREFERRED)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with quick and accurate results
• Strong time management/project skills

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of product: order placement, production scheduling, import and QA.
• Coordinate with forwarders, brokers, and truckers for freight issues.
• Inspect merchandise on receipt and identify defects or design issues.
• Ensure complete technical information for new items including photos, weights, and data entry.
• Manage production flow with email and spreadsheets.
• Resolve production and development issues with agents and designer including scheduling, pricing, quality checking and packaging.
• Book import shipments / back-up receiving inventory.
• Communicate daily with overseas offices and vendors to track development and status.
