Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an outside sales professional to promote our foodservice products and services, building strong relationships with new and existing accounts. The role may involve non-traditional hours to meet customer needs and drive sales performance.

You will develop business, qualify prospects, and tailor product mixes to achieve profitable growth. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel across the territory are required.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales/related field.
• Bi-lingual capability is a plus (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with insurability standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Seek and qualify prospects following account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and tailor a mix of products and services to meet those needs.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and events; participate in promotions and meetings.
• Manage orders, deliveries, and scheduling; assist with reporting and training.
