Job summary

Elevo is hiring a Mandarin After School Program Facilitator to lead K-8 students through structured activities using Elevo's SEL curriculum. This temporary role runs from August 10, 2026 to June 3, 2027 with a minimum 3-hour shift each day (Mon-Fri).

The position offers paid training and collaboration with school staff. Qualified candidates have 48 college credits or passed Rowland District IA Exam, are proficient in English and Mandarin Chinese, and can pass a Live Scan background check.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching, playing sports, working in education, or leading youth in any setting (e.g., camp counseling, youth programs, childcare).
• Lead by example as a confident, positive role model students want to follow.
• Bring energy and presence that holds a group of up to 20 students’ attention.
• Stay calm and empathetic when managing behavior or redirecting a tough moment.
• Build trust quickly with students, families, and school staff.
• Run activities on time and adapt on the fly when plans shift.
• Collaborate with fellow coaches and school partners.
• Motivated by Elevo’s mission to support student well-being.

Schedule

• Monday: 12:25pm-6:00pm (Minimum 3 hour shifts provided)
• Tuesday: 1:00pm-6:00pm (Minimum 3 hour shifts provided)
• Wednesday: 1:00pm-6:00pm (Minimum 3 hour shifts provided)
• Thursday: 1:00pm-6:00pm (Minimum 3 hour shifts provided)
• Friday: 1:00pm-6:00pm (Minimum 3 hour shifts provided)
• Saturday: No work

Additional Requirements

• Eligible to work in the U.S.; pass Live Scan Background check and TB screening
• 18+ with high school diploma or GED
• Proficient in English and Mandarin Chinese
