Southwest Chinese Baptist Church (SWCBC) is looking for an innovative and energetic pastor dedicated to nurturing its Mandarin-speaking congregation. This role focuses on engaging with families and young adults aged 30–45, fostering spiritual growth and community outreach.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to evangelical faith and at least five years of pastoral leadership experience. Proficiency in Mandarin and English is essential, along with a Master of Divinity or equivalent degree.

• Proven track record of leading discipleship for individuals and groups.
• Experience in Family Ministries is a plus.

The pastor, possessing the spiritual maturity described in 1 Timothy 3, will primarily work with the 30–45‑year‑old age group, consisting mainly of couples and families with children.

Requirements

1. Commitment to the evangelical faith and practice of SWCBC.
2. Must be a servant leader with proven team‑building skills and motivation.
3. Must have at least five years of active pastoral or church leadership ministry experience, preferably in the context of North America.
4. Must have a track record of leading discipleship for individuals and groups.
5. A passion for church evangelism, focusing on outreach to Mandarin‑speaking young adults, couples and families.
6. The preferred applicant should be married and demonstrate an exemplary family life.
7. Experience in Family Ministries is a plus.
8. Holder of a Master of Divinity degree or equivalent.
9. Fluent in Mandarin and English.
