American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Mandarin Language Arts Teacher for a K-8 setting in South Carolina. A valid SC teaching certification and a bachelor's degree in Education or related field are preferred.

Responsibilities include developing Mandarin curriculum, delivering project-based lessons from 7:15am to 3:45pm, assessing progress, maintaining records, and collaborating with staff. Occasional local travel may be required in this on-site role.

Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina teaching certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred.
• Experience teaching foreign language at the elementary/middle school level preferred.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Non-clinical school setting at an elementary and middle school (K-8).
• Special area class teaching Mandarin foreign language.
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 7:15am-3:45pm, 40 hours per week.
• Develop and implement foreign language curriculum for Mandarin.
• Engage students in interactive, project-based learning experiences.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a supportive and collaborative classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student development.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance.
• Participate in school-wide events and activities.
• Occasional local travel for school-related functions may be required.
• Operates in a professional school environment using standard office and instructional equipment.
